HOUSE OF CONTENT
BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
26.06.25 Last Updated
1. Payment Terms
All invoices must be acknowledged, and full payment must be received no later than the due date specified above. We reserve the right to cancel any booking if payment is not received by this date.
2. Deposit Requirement
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit must be paid no later than one (1) day prior to the scheduled date of service. Failure to pay the deposit on time may result in the booking being cancelled.
3. Refund Policy
All deposits are strictly non-refundable. If the client cancels the booking for any reason, the deposit will not be returned. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made by the client after payment is received.
4. Agreement Confirmation
By making payment of this invoice, you confirm that you have reviewed and agreed to the details of the booking as discussed and confirmed with a representative of House of Content. You also agree to be bound by the terms outlined in this document.
5. Changes and Cancellations by House of Content
In the unlikely event that House of Content must cancel or reschedule the service due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer an alternative date or a full refund of any payments made (excluding non-refundable deposits, if work or expenses have already been incurred).
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate booking details, ensuring access to locations as agreed, and being available and responsive on the scheduled date. Delays or disruptions caused by the client may result in additional charges or reduced service time.
7. Delivery of Service and Final Product
All edited content will first be provided to the Client via a watermarked preview within a secure client portal for review and approval. This preview is intended for feedback purposes only and must not be downloaded, distributed, or used publicly.
Final content will only be delivered without watermark once the full outstanding balance has been paid and payment has been received and cleared.
Upon approval of the preview content and confirmation of full payment, the Client will be granted access to download the final deliverables in full resolution via the client portal.
8. Usage Rights and Content Ownership
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, House of Content retains the right to use any content created for promotional purposes, including use in our portfolio, on our website, and across social media platforms.
All content — including raw footage, images, and edited materials — remains the sole property of House of Content until full payment has been received. Clients are not permitted to use, share, or distribute any content in part or in full until payment is complete. Once full payment has been received, ownership of the agreed deliverables will transfer to the client for their intended use.
9. Liability
House of Content will take all reasonable steps to deliver services and content of the highest standard. However, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use—or inability to use—the final content provided.
10. Rescheduling Policy
Rescheduling a booking within seven (7) days of the scheduled shoot date will incur a £75 rescheduling fee.
Repeated rescheduling or last-minute changes may be considered a breach of the client’s responsibilities under Clause 6 and can result in the termination of the client agreement at the discretion of House of Content.
In such cases, no refunds will be issued, and any remaining balance on the original invoice will remain payable.
11. Late Payments
If payment is not received by the due date stated on the invoice, House of Content reserves the right to charge statutory interest and compensation in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Interest will accrue at 8% above the Bank of England base rate from the day after the payment due date until the balance is paid in full.
In addition, a fixed late payment compensation fee may be applied as permitted by the legislation.
By booking a service with House of Content — whether by deposit, full payment, or written confirmation — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all of the above Terms and Conditions.
